Digital information transmission
From Wikinormous
Digital information transmission is the process of how information is transferred digitally. By largely equating the interface of digital information transmissions with a webbrowser and a google search, the available information is commoditised in a somewhat paradoxical fashion:
Information is valuable if it is scarce (knowledge of scarce information may give advantage according to the device "knowledge is power").
but,
Information which is not available through the webbrowser & Google search does not exist (or can at least not be verified) and therefore has low or no value.
Wikipedia is an interesting "gate", where digitally non-existent information is brought in from the analog world into the great encyclopaedia and the processed information becomes instantly valuable.
