I chose Edward L. Bernays as protagonist on this category page, not because he "knew it all" concerning this topic (see Ivy Lee [1]). We could reasonably say he said he did, and most certainly made a name for himself and laid out theories and methods of propagation as we have come to experience them through the last hundred years.
